WARNINGS

Under certain climatic conditions, SUMIMAX WP may damage groundnuts or soya beans to the
extent that yield and quality may be negatively affected. These conditions have been
identified as wet and overcast weather, possibly involving low temperatures as well. However,
the exact parameters where damage occurs cannot be accurately determined except that
damage is probable in fields with less than 10% clay content, in the germination zone, if heavy
rain falls after application. These conditions may vary from farm to farm, year to year and
even from land to land. The user is therefore warned that he accepts a certain amount of risk
by using this product.

Handle with care. Harmful if swallowed. May irritate eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children,
uninformed persons and animals. Store in a cool place, away from food, feeds, seed and other
agricultural chemicals. Toxic to fish and other aquatic organism.
Re-entry: Do not enter treated area until spray deposit has dried unless wearing protective clothing.
Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, the
registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the
action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal soil, climatic and
storage conditions; quality of dilution water; compatibility with other substances not indicated
on the label and the occurrence of resistance of weeds against the remedy concerned as well
as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does
not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or
animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow
the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in
terms of the registration. Consult the supplier or registration holder in the event of any
uncertainty.

PRECAUTIONS

Wear rubber gloves and face shield protection when handling the concentrate. Avoid inhalation of
dust or spray mist. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. In case of contamination, flush
immediately with water. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst mixing and applying or before washing
hands and face and change of clothing. Avoid drift onto other crops, desirable vegetation and areas
not under treatment, including row and tree crops listed on this label on land adjacent to land being
treated pre-emergence. Immediately after SUMIMAX WP application, the spray equipment must be
cleaned thoroughly to prevent contamination of subsequent applications, using the following method:
i.
Drain tank completely then flush tank, boom and hoses with clean water. Drain again. Fill the tank with clean water and add household ammonia (contains 3% active) at the rate of 1 litre every 100 litre water. Circulate the ammonia solution in the tank, boom and hoses for at least 15 minutes. To remove traces of ammonia, rinse the tank with clean water and flush through booms and hoses. Repeat steps (ii) and (iii). Nozzles and filters must be removed and cleaned separately with ammonia solution at the same concentration as above. Any contamination on the outside of the spraying equipment should be removed by washing with clean water.
Do not spray, drain or flush equipment on or near desirable trees or plants or where their roots may
extend. Water used for cleaning must not be allowed to contaminate untreated areas.
Destroy empty container and never use for any other purpose.
Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils.
RESISTANCE WARNING
SUMIMAX is a group code E herbicide. Any weed population may contain plants naturally resistant
to SUMIMAX and other group code E herbicides. The resistant plants can eventually dominate the
plant population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant plants may not be controlled
by SUMIMAX or any other group code E herbicides.
To delay herbicide resistance:
 Avoid exclusive repeated use of herbicides from the same herbicides group code. Alternate or
tank mix with products from different herbicide group codes.
 Integrate the control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into control programmes.
For specific information on resistance management contact the registration holder of this product.
USE RESTRICTIONS
General:
1. Do not apply SUMIMAX WP to poorly drained soils or soils with a compaction layer.
Water logging in the presence of herbicides will cause stand reduction and/or stunted growth which may lead to yield reduction.
2. DO NOT apply SUMIMAX WP through any type of irrigation system.
3. DO NOT spray SUMIMAX WP with alkaline water - first use a buffer to lower water pH if
4. To avoid injury to follow-up crops the following waiting periods should be heeded: groundnuts and soya beans – 14 days all other crops - 4 months (a test planting is recommended).
5. The application of lime to soils onto which SUMIMAX WP was applied, may lead to
desorption of the SUMIMAX WP molecules from the soil particles. This may increase the
possibility of crop damage.

Groundnuts and Soya beans :

triazine herbicides were applied to a preceding crop, unless not more than 750 g a.i. triazine/ha was applied and a period of 9 months or longer has passed since the triazine application.
5. Apply SUMIMAX WP pre-emergence on groundnuts or soya beans either 14 days prior
to planting or at planting, or immediately after planting. Do not apply SUMIMAX WP later
than 48 hours after planting the crop to be treated.

6. Only use high quality, fresh (preceding season) fungicide treated, certified seed with
good viability. Observe standard ARC-Grain Crops Institute recommendations for fungicide seed treatment and trace element additions e.g. molibdenum. 7. The occurrence of seedling diseases leads to germination and seedling vitality losses which will be aggravated by herbicide(s). 8. Any of the above factors listed or combinations thereof, will increase the risk of damage caused by the herbicide(s).
Deciduous Fruit, Citrus and Vines
1.
SUMIMAX WP is a PPO herbicide. These herbicides destroy the chlorophyll of
plants in the presence of sunlight. Spraydrift due to wind, air currents or incorrect
spraying equipment etc. coming into contact with green chlorophyll containing plant
tissue will result in herbicide damage. It is therefore necessary to ensure that
SUMIMAX WP containing spray mixture should not come into contact with chlorophyll
containing plant tissue on the deciduous fruit or citrus trees, (vines*) or adjacent non-
target crops.
It is the responsibility of the applicator to ensure that the spray does not come into contact with non-target plant tissue. Spraying equipment used for the application of SUMIMAX WP may not be used for
any foliar applications, as damage may occur to foliage or fruit.
Spraying equipment should be thoroughly cleaned after usage as described under PRECAUTIONS. SUMIMAX WP shall only be applied to vines, deciduous or citrus trees as a pre-
blossom application, due to the inability of applicators to prevent drift.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed
COMPATIBILITY:
SUMIMAX WP is compatible with glyphosate 360 SL and paraquat 200 SL. Since the
formulation of these products may change without the knowledge of PHILAGRO SOUTH
AFRICA (PTY) LIMITED and the quality of water may vary from farm to farm, a physical
compatibility test should always be carried out prior to application.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
SUMIMAX WP herbicide is a 50 % wettable powder in a water-soluble sachet, the product
contained in each sachet has a mass of 100 g. The outer protective container contains ten
water-soluble sachets. The entire sachet and contents dissolve and disperse in water. Do not
handle the soluble sachets excessively or expose them to water because this may cause
rupturing. Unused sachets should be kept in the outer protective container and stored in a
cool, dry, secure storage area.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water. Under constant agitation add the required amount of
SUMIMAX WP by dumping the required number of unopened water-soluble sachets into the
spray tank and then add the rest of the water. Keep the chemical in suspension by means of
agitation.
When tank-mixing SUMIMAX WP with another herbicide, read the label of the
complementary herbicide and adhere closely to the manufacturer‟s recommendations. Half-
fill the spray tank with clean water and under constant agitation first add the required amount
of SUMIMAX WP in the form of water-soluble sachets. Continue filling the spray tank with
water and add the required amount of complementary herbicide just before the tank is filled
to its full level. Keep the chemicals in continuous suspension by maintaining continuous
agitation.
Tank mixtures must be sprayed out immediately and should not be allowed to stand in the
spray tank overnight. After the spraying operation, flush out spraying equipment thoroughly.

APPLICATION
Spray equipment must be accurately calibrated prior to and during application of SUMIMAX
WP. Good results are obtained using flat-fan spray nozzles to ensure even spray
distribution. However, where there is a danger of microdroplets drifting onto susceptible
plant tissue air-mix no-drift type nozzles or equivalent shall be used. SUMIMAX WP is
activated by moisture and best weed control is achieved when applied to a moist soil on a
fresh seedbed, followed by + 15 mm rainfall or irrigation within one week of application. Note
that flood irrigation can result in reduced weed control efficacy
Groundnuts and Soya beans:
SUMIMAX WP or SUMIMAX WP plus glyphosate 360 SL can be applied 14 days before the
intended planting date. Alternatively, SUMIMAX WP can be applied on its own, or in a tank
mixture with alachlor 384 EC at planting or within 48 hours of planting. Use 200 - 300ℓ/ha
total spray volume for overall ground application.
For banded applications of SUMIMAX WP use proportionately less product per hectare for
the band versus a broadcast application.
The best results will be obtained if SUMIMAX WP is applied onto an even, well-prepared
seedbed which is free of clods, trash and weeds.
If dry weather conditions should prevail for a period of 7 - 10 days after application, weeds
may germinate and develop. If this happens, use shallow cultivation with a rotary harrow to
control these weeds and to mix the herbicide with the top 10 - 20 mm of soil. Deeper
cultivation should be avoided as untreated soil may be brought to the surface and reduced
efficacy of SUMIMAX WP could result.
Deciduous fruit vines and citrus (forestry)*:
If existing weeds are present, these may have a detrimental effect on the efficacy of
SUMIMAX WP.
SUMIMAX WP is a pre-emergence herbicide and will only control weeds that have not
germinated at the time of application. If applied to germinated weeds, a tank mixture with
paraquat 200 SL or glyphosate 360 SL should be used, or the site should be cleared using
chemical or mechanical means prior to the application of SUMIMAX WP.
When applied to deciduous fruit, citrus and vines, SUMIMAX WP should be applied as a
directed spray, and avoid contact of the spray mixture with the foliage or fruit of the crop.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. WARNING: Wet conditions (more than 20mm rain) especially when combined with cold (less than
10C at night) and sandy soils and/or overcast weather within four weeks after planting can cause crop injury, particularly on groundnuts. Refer to first paragraph under "WARNINGS". 2. DO NOT EXCEED the above specified dosage rates of any of the products SUMIMAX WP, or
ALACHLOR 384 EC as crop injury may result - ensure STRICT ADHERENCE to the specified
rates.
3. Before using SUMIMAX WP in combination with other herbicides, read the labels concerned and
adhere to the label recommendations, warnings and use restrictions. 4. Do not fail to adhere to the warnings listed under "use restrictions" on this label.
5. Seed size : Smaller groundnut seed may be more susceptible to herbicide damage than
6. SUMIMAX WP may be applied 14 days prior to planting. By doing this, the risk of crop injury will
be reduced but the residual efficacy of the SUMIMAX WP and the control of weeds in the planting
row may be compromised. Existing weeds can be controlled by adding 1,0 – 3,0ℓ of glyphosate
360 SL to the SUMIMAX WP.
7. The alachlor 384EC or SUMIMAX WP tank mixed with alachlor must be applied at planting or
within 48 hours of planting. DOSAGE/ha

must either be added to the SUMIMAX WP or the area to be treated should be cleared of
weeds by chemical or mechanical means prior to the application of SUMIMAX WP.
SUMIMAX WP may be used on non-bearing citrus and fruit trees younger than 3 years, but
not on vines younger than 3 years.

Pre-plant treatment:

Pine (Pinus patula) Post transplant of seedlings:
Bluegum (Eucalyptus Apply in at least 250ℓ water / ha. SUMIMAX WP may be applied over the
top of the seedlings.

IMPORTANT:
1.
When SUMIMAX WP is applied over the top of the seedlings, slight scorching of the leaves or
needles may occur. This is of a transient nature and is soon outgrown.
Seedlings must be of good quality, and free of disease and insect damage. Blue gums affected with botritis may be severely scorched, or even killed. Do not apply to trees which were grown on any other growth medium than soil. Will not appear on the printed label.

WAARSKUWINGS

Onder sekere klimaatstoestande mag SUMIMAX WP lei tot beskadiging van sojabone
en grondbone, tot so „n mate dat die opbrengs en kwaliteit van die oes nadelig
bëinvloed word. Hierdie toestande is uitgeken as nat en betrokke weer met moontlik
gepaardgaande lae temperature. Die presiese parameters waaronder beskadiging
mag voorkom kan nie vasgestel word nie, behalwe dat skade moontlik is in lande met
„n kleiinhoud laer as 10% in die ontkiemingsone, as swaar reëns na toediening gevolg
het. Hierdie toestande mag verskil van seisoen tot seisoen, plaas tot plaas en self
land tot land. Die verbruiker word dus gewaarsku dat die gebruik van die produk „n
sekere mate van risiko inhou.

Hanteer versigtig. Skadelik as ingesluk word. Mag oë en vel irriteer. Hou buite bereik van
kinders, oningeligte persone en diere. Bewaar in „n koel plek weg van voedsel, voer, saad,
kunsmis en ander landbouchemikalieë. Giftig vir visse en ander akwatiese organismes.
Herbetreding: Moet nie behandelde gebied betree alvorens die spuitneerslag droog is nie,
tensy beskermende oorklere gedra word.
Alhoewel hierdie middel omvattend onder ‘n groot verskeidenheid toestande getoets
is, waarborg die registrasiehouer nie dat dit onder alle toestande doeltreffend sal
wees nie, aangesien die werking en effek daarvan beïnvloed kan word deur faktore
soos
en
van
verdunningswater; verenigbaarheid met ander stowwe wat nie op die etiket aangedui
is nie en die voorkoms van weerstand van die onkruid teen die betrokke middel sowel
as die metode, tyd en akkuraatheid van toediening. Verder aanvaar die
registrasiehouer nie verantwoordelikheid vir die skade aan gewasse, plantegroei, die
omgewing of vir die nadelige effek op mens of dier of vir ‘n gebrek aan prestasie van
die betrokke middel as gevolg van die versuim van die gebruiker om etiketaanwysings
na te kom of as gevolg van die ontstaan van toestande wat nie kragtens die registrasie
voorsien kon word nie. Raadpleeg die verskaffer of registrasiehouer in die geval van
enige onsekerheid.
VOORSORGMAATREËLS
Dra rubber handskoene en „n gesigsmasker wanneer met die konsentraat gewerk word.
Vermy inaseming van die poeier of spuitnewel. Vermy kontak met vel, oë en klere. In geval
van kontaminasie, was deeglik met water.
Moet nie eet, drink of rook tydens vermenging of toediening en alvorens hande en gesig
gewas en skoon klere aangetrek is nie.
Verhoed spuitstofwegdrywing na ander gewasse, gewenste plantegroei en oppervlaktes wat
nie behandel word nie, insluitend gewasse en boorde gelys op hierdie etiket op grond
aangrensend aan die lande wat voor-opkoms behandel word. Onmiddellik na SUMIMAX
WP toediening, moet die spuittoerusting deeglik skoongemaak word om besoedeling van
toekomstige toedienings te voorkom. Gebruik die volgende metode:
i.
Dreineer tenk en spoel tenk, spuitbalk en pype met skoon water uit. Dreineer weer. Vul tenk met skoon water en voeg huishoudelike ammoniak (bevat 3 % aktief) by teen „n konsentrasie van 1 liter per 100 liter water. Sirkuleer die ammoniak oplossing deur die tenk, spuitbalk en pype vir ten minste 15 min. Dreineer heeltemal. Om ammoniak oorblyfsels te verwyder spoel die tenk met skoon water uit en deurspoel die spuitbalk en pype. Herhaal (ii) en (iii). Spuitkoppe en filtreerders moet verwyder word en apart skoon gemaak word met „n ammoniakoplossing van dieselfde konsentrasie soos hierbo. Enige kontaminasie aan die buitekant van die spuittoerusting moet verwyder word deur dit met skoon water te was.
Vermy bespuiting, leegmaak of uitspoeling van toerusting op of naby gewenste bome of
plante of tot waar hulle wortels mag strek. Moet nie onbehandelde oppervlaktes besoedel
met water wat gebruik word vir uitspoel van spuit nie.
Vernietig leë houer en moet vir geen ander doel gebruik nie.
Voorkom besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei.
BESTANDHEIDSWAARSKUWING:
SUMIMAX is „n groepkode E onkruiddoder. Enige populasie van „n spesifieke onkruid mag
plante insluit wat „n natuurlike weerstand teen SUMIMAX of enige ander groepkode E
onkruiddoder het. Indien hierdie onkruiddoders herhaaldelik aangewend word, kan die
weerstandbiedende plante uiteindelik die plante populasie oorheers. Hierdie

Om weerstand teen onkruiddoders te vertraag:
 Vermy die eksklusiewe herhaaldelike gebruik van onkruiddoders met dieselfde groepkode. Wissel af met, of gebruik tenkmengsels van produkte in verskillende onkruiddoder groepkodes.  Integreer ander beheermaatreels (chemies, verbouing, biologies) in onkruiddoder
Vir spesifieke inligting oor weerstandsbestuur kontak die registrasiehouer van hierdie produk.
GEBRUIKSBEPERKINGS
Algemeen:
1. Moet nie SUMIMAX WP op swak gedreineerde grond of grond met „n verdigtingslaag
toedien nie. Versuiptoestande in die teenwoordigheid van onkruiddoders sal tot verminderde stand en/of vertraagde groei lei, wat oesverlies tot gevolg mag hê.
2. Moet nie SUMIMAX WP deur enige tipe besproeiingstelsel toedien nie.
3. MOET NIE SUMIMAX WP met alkaliese water spuit nie - gebruik eers „n buffer om water
pH te verlaag indien nodig. onthoudingsperiodes nagekom word: Grondbone en soyabone – 14 dae alle ander gewasse – 4 maande. („n Toetsaanplanting word aanbeveel).
5. Die bekalking van gronde waarop SUMIMAX WP toegedien is, mag lei tot desorpsie van
die SUMIMAX WP molekules vanaf die gronddeeltjies wat die risiko vir gewasskade kan
verhoog.

Grondbone en sojabone:

1. Al die beperkings soos hierbo gelys onder "Algemeen", is ook van toepassing op
grondbone en sojabone. 2. Die saad moet geplant word op die diepte soos voorgeskryf deur die LNR, Instituut vir Graangewasse
Grondbone
50 – 75mm (afhangend van die saadbed en grondtoestande) 20 – 60mm (afhangend van die saadbed en grondtoestande)
3. Op lande wat blootgestel is aan winderosie, mag die volgende gebeur:
3.1 swak onkruidbeheer as gevolg van die wegwaai van die onkruiddoder, saam met die boonste grondlaag; 3.2 windskade aan saailinge wat die plantjies meer vatbaar maak vir onkruiddoder skade
4. MOET NIE SUMIMAX WP aan enige grondboon- of sojaboongewas toedien nie indien
atrasien of ander triasien onkruiddoders aan „n voorafgaande gewas toegedien is nie, tensy nie meer as 750 g a.b. triasien/ha toegedien was nie en „n periode van 9 maande of langer sedert die triasien toediening verloop het nie.
5. Dien SUMIMAX WP voor-opkoms van grondbone of sojabone toe. Dien toe of 14 dae
voor plant, of met plant of onmiddellik na plant, maar nie later as 48 uur na plant van die gewas wat behandel word nie.
6. Gebruik slegs hoë kwaliteit, vars (voorafgaande seisoen) gesertifiseerde kiemkragtige
saad wat behandel is met „n swamdoder. Saadbehandeling moet geskied volgens die voorskrifte van die LNR-Instituut vir Graangewasse. 7. Saailingsiektes gee aanleiding tot verlaagde kiem- en groeikragtigheid wat vererger sal word deur die onkruiddoder(s). 8. Enige van die faktore gelys of kombinasies hiervan sal die risiko van onkruiddoderskade aan die gewas verhoog.
Sagte Vrugte, Sitrus en Wingerd
1.
SUMIMAX WP behoort aan die PPO-chemiese groep van onkruiddoders. Hierdie
chemiese groep vernietig die chlorofil van plante in teenwoordigheid van sonlig.
Wegdrywing van spuitnewel deur lugbeweging, wind, foutiewe toediening ens. na
groen dele van plante sal onkruiddoderskade tot gevolg hê. Derhalwe is dit
noodsaaklik om alle voorsorgmaatreëls te neem om te verseker dat SUMIMAX WP-
bevattende spuitmengsels nie in aanraking kom met enige groen chlorfil bevattende
dele van sugtevrugte, sitrus, wingerd* en aangrensende gewasse nie.
Dit is die verantwoordelikheid van die toediener om te verseker dat spuitmengsel nie in aanraking kom met nie-teiken plantweefsel nie. Spuitapparaat wat vir SUMIMAX WP bespuiting gebruik word moet nie vir
blaarbespuitings gebruik word nie, aangesien blare en vrugte beskadig mag word.
VOORSORGMAATREëLS. SUMIMAX WP moet voor blom van die sagte vrugte, wingerd- en sitrusbome
aangewend word, as gevolg van die onvermoë van toedieners om spuitnewel
wegdrywing te vermy.

GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: Gebruik alleenlik soos aangedui
MENGBAARHEID:
SUMIMAX WP is mengbaar met glifosaat 360 SL en parakwat 200 SL. Aangesien
PHILAGRO SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LIMITED geen beheer het oor moontlike
formulasiewysigings van die glifosaat of parakwat nie, en die kwaliteit van verdunningswater
kan varieër van plaas tot plaas, word aanbeveel dat „n fisiese verenigbaarheidstoets
uitgevoer word alvorens toediening plaasvind.
MENGINSTRUKSIES:

SUMIMAX WP onkruiddoder is „n 50 % benatbare poeier in „n wateroplosbare sakkie en die
produk in elke sakkie het „n massa van 100 g. Die beskermende houer bevat tien
wateroplosbare sakkies. Die totale sakkie en inhoud los op en versprei in water. Moet nie die
wateroplosbare sakkie oormatig hanteer of aan water blootstel nie, omrede dit skeuring kan
veroorsaak. Ongebruikte sakkies moet in die beskermende houer gehou word en in „n koel,
droë, veilige stoorplek gestoor word.
Maak die spuittenk half-vol met skoon water. Tydens konstante roering, voeg die verlangde
hoeveelheid SUMIMAX WP by deur die verlangde aantal onoopgemaakte wateroplosbare
sakkies in die spuittenk te dompel - voeg dan die res van die water by. Hou die chemikalie in
suspensie deur middel van roering.
Wanneer SUMIMAX WP met „n grasdoder of „n ander produk in „n tenkmengsel vermeng
word, lees die etiket van die betrokke grasdoder en kom die vervaardiger se aanbevelings
sorgvuldig na. Maak die spuittenk half-vol met skoon water en tydens konstante roering voeg
eers die verlangde hoeveelheid SUMIMAX WP by in die vorm van wateroplosbare sakkies.
Hou aan om die spuittenk met water te vul en voeg die verlangde hoeveelheid van die
aanvullende onkruiddoder by sodra die spuittenk amper vol is. Vul nou die res van die tenk
met water. Hou die chemikalieë in die spuittenk in voortdurende suspensie deur deurgaans
roering toe te pas.
Tenkmengsels moet dadelik uitgespuit word en moet nie toegelaat word om oornag in die
spuittenk te staan nie. Na elke dag se toediening moet die spuittoerusting deeglik met water
uitgespoel word.
TOEDIENING

Kalibreer spuittoerusting noukeurig voor en tydens toediening van SUMIMAX WP. Goeie
resultate word verkry deur platwaaierspuitpunte te gebruik wat „n egalige spuitstof
verspreiding verseker. Waar daar „n moontlikheid bestaan dat mikrondruppels sal wegdryf
na gevoelige plantweefsel moet lug-induksie "no drift" spuitpunte of ekwivalent gebruik word.
SUMIMAX WP word deur vog geaktiveer en die beste onkruidbeheer word verkry wanneer
aan „n klam grond op „n vars saadbed toegedien word gevolg deur 15 mm reën of
besproeiing binne een week na toediening. Let daarop dat vloedbesproeiing mag tot
verminderde onkruidbeheer lei.
Grondbone en Sojabone:
SUMIMAX WP of SUMIMAX WP plus glifosaat 360 SL kan 14 dae voor die beplande
plantdatum van grondbone en sojabone toegedien word. Die produk kan ook op sy eie, of
in tenkmengsels met Alachlor 384 EC tydens, of onmiddellik na plant, toegedien word.
SUMIMAX WP moet nie meer as 48 uur na aanplanting van die gewas toegedien word nie.
Gebruik 200 - 300 l/ha spuitmengsel vir algehele grondtoediening.
Vir strooktoediening van SUMIMAX WP, gebruik dienooreenkomstig minder produk per
hektaar vir die strook teenoor „n algehele toediening.
Die beste resultate sal verkry word indien SUMIMAX WP op „n gelyke, goed-voorbereide
saadbed wat vry is van kluite, plantreste en onkruide toegedien word.

Indien droë weerstoestande vir „n periode van 7 - 10 dae na toediening sou voortduur, mag
onkruid ontkiem en ontwikkel. Waar dit gebeur, word aanbeveel dat „n bewerking met „n
roltandeg uitgevoer word om die onkruid te vernietig en die onkruiddoder met die boonste 10
- 20 mm grond te vermeng. Dieper bewerking moet vermy word, want onbehandelde grond
mag tot die grondoppervlak gebring word en swakker onkruidbeheer deur SUMIMAX WP
mag ondervind word.

Sagtevrugte, sitrus en wingerd (en bosbou)*:
Let daarop dat aanwesigheid van bestaande onkruide en/of plantreste die effektiwiteit van
SUMIMAX WP nadelig kan beïnvloed.

SUMIMAX WP is „n vooropkoms onkruiddoder, en sal slegs onkruide wat nog nie ontkiem
het nie, beheer.
Waar SUMIMAX WP op bestaande onkruid toegedien gaan word, moet glifosaat 360 SL of
parakwat 200 SL in „n tenkmengsel saam met SUMIMAX WP toegedien word, of die persele
moet vooraf chemies of meganies skoongemaak word.
In die geval van sagtevrugte, sitrus en wingerd, moet „n gerigte bespuiting gedoen word om
kontak van spuitmengsel met blare en vrugte van gewas te voorkom. Sien asseblief
"GEBRUIKSBEPERKINGS" en "TOEDIENING" vir volle besonderhede.
